Fun Stuff is a Community Cinema screening uplifting documentaries for and about ordinary people.
My Exploding House is a short film about memory and home. Film-maker Liberty Smith reconstructs the past through film-making and model-building, in order to trace the truth of a 30-year-old memory. Right from the start, it's an incredibly engaging patchwork of memories and styles, full of humour, intrigue, and honesty. This is a really short film (17 mins) - so don't be late! Film starts at 6:30, and we've got to be prompt as Liberty has a train to catch!
We can't wait to have film-maker Liberty Smith with us to talk more about the film in a Q+A afterwards. She's coming all the way up from Bristol, so be sure to not miss this one!
To celebrate the end of an era, we will finish the event with a party and surpise workshop!
