At this beginner-friendly tasting offers three South African wines, served alongside two iconic food staples that capture the spirit of the South Africa. Along the way, you’ll uncover the stories behind the vines, explore the roots of South African cuisine, and discover a few modern gems too. Plus you’ll receive a £20 voucher after the event to use in our restaurants and shops.
November: The Flavours of Cape Malay
Cape Malay cuisine is where South African food gets its fragrant, spice-laden soul — born from the cooks and traders brought to Cape Town from Southeast Asia centuries ago. Cinnamon, chilli, and a touch of sweetness, all in one plate. You’ll taste two iconic food staples, including a Samosa and Cape Malay Chicken, served alongside a flight of three wines.
