This face-to-face training session is designed to improve participants' knowledge and confidence when working with individuals who use Spice (synthetic cannabinoids).
Learning Outcomes
By the end of the session, participants will:
- Increase their understanding of the effects of Spice use on physical and mental health.
- Explore the history of Spice production and its development over time.
- Examine current trends and patterns relating to Spice use.
- Discuss effective approaches to working with Spice users.
- Identify and understand the risks associated with Spice use, including health, safeguarding and community safety concerns.
- Consider practical strategies for risk reduction and engagement with individuals affected by Spice use.
This session will combine presentation, discussion and shared learning to support professionals in developing a greater understanding of Spice and its impact on the individuals and communities they work with.
