About this Event
This event in the ESE Evening Lecture Series is on the theme of Geohazards, featuring a line-up of speakers including ESE's Dr Rebecca Bell and Banusha Kugabalan, and ESE alumnus Dr Ben Conway.
The event will include a panel discussion with questions from the audience, followed by a networking reception where you'll have the chance to connect with speakers and attendees alike.
These events will also be a great opportunity to showcase what you are working on in front of a room of potential future industrial and policy partners:
- There will be poster boards on display throughout the evening so that groups not directly represented by any of the speakers will have the chance to communicate what they’re working on in this space with guests.
- Each lecture can be considered an anchor event that we’re happy to help others organise additional activities around (e.g. meetings with industrial and policy partners, special seminars, and post-lecture gatherings).
Please get in touch with Fred Richards ([email protected]) or Sarah Gordon ([email protected]) if you would like their support to showcase your research and/or set up your own activity.
Please note: The event will be be live-streamed for those who can't attend in person, but your Eventbrite ticket will be for in-person attendance only.
If you would like to receive a link to the live-stream please sign up for the online event.
