A Night of Queer Expression, Grief, and Grit Through Live Music & Burlesque!
@Shakeitforgood is inviting you to be part of the second annual Emotional Damage Crybaret , a one night performance art event where raw emotion takes center stage, and grief meets glitter.
This show is an emotionally led cabaret using live music and burlesque to process our collective emotional damage from the loss of mental health services and suicide prevention resources to the personal grief and rage we carry in our bodies every day. A protest in pasties.
We are helping raise funds for the Crisis Response Center a Local Crisis Hotline Since the 1970s Their 24/7 hotline provides free, confidential emotional support to people in Suffolk County and across the nation. For over 50 years, Response has been a safe space for individuals.
