Carmen Tomas is an education expert and educational leader specialising in future-ready curriculum design, assessment transformation, AI in education, digital assessment, and online learning.

She works at the intersection of education systems, technology, and human potential, partnering with Ministries of Education, universities, EdTech solution providers, and students to reimagine learning for a rapidly changing world.

Over her career, she has led international transformations in student-centred curriculum and assessment design, digital assessment innovation at scale, online and blended learning implementation, and the strategic integration of AI in education.

Alongside her institutional work, Carmen coaches EdTech startups and scale-ups, supporting founders and product teams to build next-generation, human-centred learning solutions that are pedagogically rigorous, scalable, and impactful.

She is also the creator of Future-U, a transformational coaching programme designed to help students find purpose, overcome fear, and unlock their full potential—preparing them not only for the future of work, but for life.
