Million Moments for Democracy (2025), Amalia Kovářová (Czech Republic) + Q&A Amalia Kovářová (in person) and Mikuláš Minář (online)

Set against a time of profound social changes, Amalia Kovářová’s inspiring documentary follows the founders of the massive 2019 Czech protest movement, Million Movements for Democracy. Through the journey of two friends, Mikuláš Minář and Benjamin Roll, the film offers an intimate look at the challenges, doubts, and dedication of the founders to strengthen democracy and inspire civic engagement.
