Exhibition Tour: Alessandro Mendini at the Estorick Collection

Join us for a special Casa Italiana community visit to the Estorick Collection for a guided tour of Alessandro Mendini, the UK’s first solo exhibition dedicated to one of Italy’s most imaginative and influential post-war designers and architects.

Bringing together around 50 works – from furniture and drawings to paintings, rugs and design objects – the exhibition explores Mendini’s playful and poetic approach to design, as well as his iconic collaborations with companies such as Alessi and Swatch.

This visit will include a one-hour guided tour led by the Estorick team, offering a deeper insight into Mendini’s colourful and inventive world.

We look forward to discovering the exhibition together and sharing an evening of Italian creativity and design.

For this event, we will be meeting directly at the Estorick Collection: 39a Canonbury Square, London N1 2AN.

The tour will start promptly at 6:30pm. The Estorick Cafe will be open before then, if you wish to arrive beforehand. Drinks are not allowed into the gallery space.

The tour will be led in English.
