Ecstatic Dance CLT 3 Year Anniversary - Noah Proudfoot & Alexander Caruso

I’m thrilled to announce my next collaboration with Noah Proudfoot and Alexander Caruso & Ritual Sound on Saturday, 10/24/26, as we come together to celebrate three years of dance, commuity and transformation.

Meet the Artists:

NOAH PROUDFOOT:
Asheville DJ, songwriter and producer, Noah Proudfoot, blends sacred soundscapes with medicine bass and world music to take dancers on a transformative journey of the heart. Influenced by a love of mantra and meditation, his mixes are carefully curated to amplify presence, embodiment, and expression. Weaving live guitar, vocals, and flute- Each set is a living prayer, designed to open doorways of connection—within the self, with others, and with the earth. With an ear for dynamic flow and a heart attuned to the moment, he crafts experiences that are both deeply grounding and elevating.

Rooted in the healing power of music, Noah’s approach to ecstatic dance is both intuitive and intentional. Each set is a living prayer, designed to open doorways of connection—within the self, with others, and with the earth. With an ear for dynamic flow and a heart attuned to the moment, he crafts experiences that are both deeply grounding and elevating.

ALEXANDER CARUSO:

Alexander is the original Ecstatic Dance Charlotte musician—the one who helped give birth to this movement alongside Colleen in September 2023. Living in the hills of Asheville, NC, Alexander orients his life around creativity in all its forms. He is a multi-talented writer, producer, and musician whose inspiration flows from Eastern sounds and themes, Western myths, Chan Buddhism, and the magic of delay pedals.

A true sound alchemist, Alexander has written and produced immersive soundscapes specifically for ecstatic dance communities. His journeys are deeply elemental and emotional—woven with love, dreamlike dynamics, and organic textures. By blending pre-produced sound layers with live instrumentation, Alexander creates sonic landscapes that feel alive—each set unfolding as an unforgettable journey into body, heart, and spirit.

Dance Workshop with DeeAnn Macomson: We’re delighted to welcome back DeeAnn who will lead a special Azul movement workshop from 6:45–7:10 PM. This optional session helps participants ease into the evening by moving through fears or anxieties about dancing in community, setting the stage for deeper connection and freedom of expression.

Glow Paint and Adornment Doors open at 6:30 PM, offering time to adorn yourself with glow paint and prepare for the night. This is an opportunity to tap into your inner luminescence and express yourself through creative self-decoration. Body paint will be provided, and you’re welcome to bring additional items for adornment. Come dressed to express your wild, free, and unfiltered self!

FREE Community Ceremonial Cacao will begin at 7:15 PROMPTLY. A gift to the community as we celebrate three years of dance, community and transformation.

Intention Setting:

Everyone is invited to bring an altar item (or multiple) for our collective intention-setting ceremony. We will be co-creating an altar together.
