Echoes of Renewal
Echoes of Renewal is a visually striking dance work that explores the connection between humanity and the natural world. Created by Continuum Dance Project, with video by Ernesto Galan, the piece blends powerful, expressive choreography with themes of attention, care, and reciprocity. Echoes aims to bring the feeling of the outside indoors through organic movement and video. Viewers are invited to feel, not just observe, our place within nature’s cycles.
Inspired by Robin Wall Kimmerer’s ‘Braiding Sweetgrass’ and a personal sense of disconnection, the work challenges audiences to reconsider their relationship to the seasons, and the land we inhabit. Designed for both indoor and outdoor stages, Echoes of Renewal is adaptable, evocative, and timely; an experience that resonates long after the final movement.
