About this Event

Location: G.47, Mile End Library, Queen Mary University of London, Mile End Rd, Bethnal Green, London, E1 4NS

Come join us for the Queen Mary East London Research Network event with Citizens UK - a chance to connect and collaborate in person.

This practice‑sharing, networking, and community‑building session brings together the East London Research Network and East London Citizens to create a collaborative space for exchange between Queen Mary staff and students, and community partners. It offers a valuable opportunity to connect across disciplines and sectors, discuss shared priorities, and strengthen relationships that can inform future collaborations. Participants will have the chance to learn from one another, and exchange approaches and experiences, sharing effective strategies, surfacing challenges, and discussing what is working well, and what isn’t.

Taking place on the Queen Mary University of London Mile End campus, this in-person gathering is a fantastic opportunity to connect with fellow QM researchers, community organisers, and local leaders passionate about East London in particular themes:

· Migration justice (including refugees)

· Housing and homelessness (land justice, community land trusts, and more)

· Work and wages (Living Wage, secure employment, equal pay)

· Health equity

· Young people, including youth safety

Come ready to engage in insightful discussions, share ideas, and foster collaborations for future research and action together for positive change across East London.

Refreshments and lunch will be provided.

This event is organised by the Queen Mary East London Research Network and Citizens UK.
