About this Event
In 2026, Debt Free Advice marks 20 years of partnership-led delivery supporting Londoners facing debt and money worries.
Led by Toynbee Hall, Debt Free Advice brings together community-based advice organisations across London to deliver free, independent and trusted advice at scale. Over two decades, the partnership has supported hundreds of thousands of people and adapted to a changing landscape of financial vulnerability, rising living costs and increasing complexity in people’s lives.
At a time of sustained cost-of-living pressure and growing financial insecurity, this event will bring together senior leaders from local government, health, justice, the advice sector, funders and the voluntary sector to reflect on that journey and, crucially, to look ahead.
The morning will include keynote contributions and guest speakers from across the public, advice and voluntary sectors, alongside the launch of London’s Financial Health Check, new analysis of financial vulnerability in London today.
Alongside celebrating 20 years of impact, the event will also explore Adviser Intelligence, Debt Free Advice’s approach to using technology to support advisers, strengthen quality and keep human judgement at the centre of advice.
The event will also feature major announcements on how partnership-led advice is being expanded into settings where advice has historically been hardest to access and where financial pressure is often most acute.
Attendees will leave with a clear understanding of what is changing, how advice delivery in London is evolving, and where there are opportunities to engage and collaborate so support reaches people earlier, in the places where they need it most.
This is a forward-looking event focused on what comes next: how trusted partnerships, community-based advice, innovation and collaboration can strengthen London’s response to debt and financial hardship.
Full programme details and speakers will be confirmed shortly. Early registration is encouraged to reserve a place.
