ENGLISH BELOW🌼💀 Día de Muertos 2026 en Copenhague 💀🌼

Este año volvemos a celebrar Día de Muertos como lo hemos hecho en años anteriores: con una fiesta profundamente mexicana, construida desde la comunidad, la música, el arte, ¡la comida! y la memoria de quienes ya no están con nosotros. 🕯️🌺
Pero esta vez queremos abrir todavía más el espacio e invitar a la comunidad latinoamericana en Copenhague a compartir también las formas, expresiones y tradiciones con las que en sus distintos países recuerdan y celebran a sus muertos.
📣 Este es todavía un anuncio temprano: un “save the date” y, sobre todo, una invitación a participar en la creación del evento.
Si quieres contribuir con un número musical 🎶, ayudar en la cocina 🫔, facilitar un taller de manualidades 🎨, participar en la construcción de la ofrenda 🌼 o simplemente aportar tus manos, ideas y energía, queremos conocerte.
La celebración es sin fines de lucro y depende de la participación de quienes aman esta tradición y quieren ayudar a mantenerla viva y compartirla con sus familias, amistades y comunidades aquí en Copenhague.
🌺 Cinco sábados para crear juntos
Antes de la celebración tendremos cinco encuentros abiertos:

Durante estos sábados prepararemos artesanías, decoraciones y comida tradicional, compartiremos conocimientos y construiremos juntos los elementos que darán vida a la celebración.
No hace falta ser artista, cocinero ni experto en Día de Muertos. La idea es crear un ambiente relajado, amistoso y participativo, donde podamos aprender unos de otros, conocernos y fortalecer los lazos entre la comunidad latinoamericana y todas las personas que sienten curiosidad y cariño por nuestras culturas.
💀 Dos días de celebración
🎉 Sábado 31 de octubre
Montaremos colectivamente la ofrenda, tendremos música en vivo, comida tradicional, actividades artísticas y momentos para recordar y ofrendar a nuestros seres queridos. Y, por supuesto, cerraremos con una fiesta en honor a los muertos.
🌼 Domingo 1 de noviembre
Abriremos las puertas para que el público pueda visitar la ofrenda. El espacio estará dedicado al arte, la música, la memoria y la comunidad, con actividades abiertas durante el día.
🕯️ Día de Muertos se construye entre muchas manos. Si tienes ganas de participar, proponer algo o simplemente acompañarnos en alguno de los talleres previos, este es el momento de sumarte.
Queremos que 2026 sea una celebración creada por la comunidad y para la comunidad. 🌎❤️💀

🌼💀 Día de Muertos 2026 in Copenhagen 💀🌼
October 31st and November 1st, 2026
This year we are once again celebrating Día de Muertos as we have done in previous years: with a deeply Mexican celebration built around community, music, art, food and the memory of those who are no longer with us. 🕯️🌺
This time, however, we also want to open the space further and invite the Latin American community in Copenhagen to share the different ways, expressions and traditions through which people in their countries remember and celebrate those who have passed away.
📣 This is still an early announcement: a save-the-date and, above all, an invitation to help create the event.
If you would like to contribute with a musical performance 🎶, help in the kitchen 🫔, facilitate a craft workshop 🎨, participate in building the ofrenda 🌼, or simply contribute your hands, ideas and energy, we would love to hear from you.
The celebration is non-profit and depends on the participation of people who love this tradition and want to help keep it alive and share it with their families, friends and communities here in Copenhagen.
🌺 Five Saturdays to create together
Before the main celebration, we will have five open preparation days:

During these Saturdays, we will prepare crafts, decorations and traditional food, share knowledge and create together the different elements that will bring the celebration to life.
You do not need to be an artist, cook or Día de Muertos expert. The idea is to create a relaxed, friendly and participatory atmosphere where we can learn from each other, meet new people and strengthen connections between the Latin American community and everyone who is curious about and appreciates our cultures.
💀 Two days of celebration
🎉 Saturday, October 31
We will build the ofrenda together, enjoy live music, traditional food, artistic activities and moments dedicated to remembering and honoring our loved ones. And, of course, we will end with a celebration in honor of the dead.
🌼 Sunday, November 1
We will open the doors for the general public to visit the ofrenda. The space will be dedicated to art, music, memory and community, with open activities throughout the day.
🕯️ Día de Muertos is built by many hands. If you would like to participate, propose something or simply join one of the preparation workshops, this is the moment to get involved.
We want 2026 to be a celebration created by the community, for the community. 🌎❤️💀
