🪔 DIWALI ON THE SQUARE 2026
ONE SQUARE. MANY CULTURES. ONE BIG PARIVAR!
✨ San Francisco, let's celebrate Diwali together! Join ParivarBayArea for our inaugural Diwali on the Square, a spectacular evening of lights, culture, music, dance, delicious Indian food, festive shopping, henna, beauty, and community joy! We're bringing together an exciting and growing lineup of local vendors, artists, performers, small businesses, food entrepreneurs, and community organizations to create an unforgettable celebration. Shop our Diwali Bazaar, enjoy live performances, discover festive treasures, and make wonderful memories with family, friends, and neighbors. More exciting vendor and performer announcements are coming!
❤️ A New Home. A New Beginning. A Bigger Family! This Diwali is especially meaningful as ParivarBayArea celebrates its new chapter as an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit and welcomes everyone to our new home at St. Mark's Square & Urban Life Center. Founded and led by the Kinnar-Hijrah community, rooted in Indian and South Asian heritage, and shaped by Global South immigrant experiences, we continue to grow while honoring our roots. We welcome immigrant families, elders, youth, LGBTQ+ communities, neighbors, and people of every faith, identity, and background. You don't have to be South Asian or Hindu to celebrate, and you don't have to spend Diwali alone. Come find your Parivar—your family!
