Everyone in digital out-of-home has stood in Times Square and looked up. On Thursday, October 15, Mitch Mittler, Senior Director at Diversified Digital, will stand on the TKTS red steps. He'll talk through the displays around the Square: how they are built, the technology that keeps them running, and the stories behind them.
Diversified has worked on displays in the Square, and that work is where these stories come from. Bring your questions. Mitch and Steve Glancey, Diversified DIGITAL Practice Leader, will take them on the steps.
The DSF Takeover organizers are handing out a limited number of free ferry tickets to Hoboken after the talk. It takes about an hour to get to Hoboken from the W 39th St terminal, in time for XUSC's Oktoberfest at the Hoboken Biergarten (6:00–9:00 PM). XU Social Club hosts Oktoberfest, so register for it separately at https://www.xusocialclub.com/event-details/oktoberfest

Info: Walk about 30 minutes, or take NY Waterway's free Midtown shuttle bus, to the ferry terminal at W 39th St and 12th Ave. Boats to Hoboken 14th St leave every 20 minutes. The DSF Takeover organizers are handing out a limited number of free ferry tickets.
