Discover the Japanese art of Kintsugi
Join us in Amsterdam for a unique in-person event where you can learn all about the ancient art of Kintsugi. This traditional Japanese technique involves repairing broken pottery with gold, silver, or vermilion, turning flaws into beautiful works of art. During this event, you'll have the opportunity to delve into the history and techniques of Kintsugi and even create your own Kintsugi pottery. All materials, including pottery, are provided. Don't miss this chance to explore the beauty of imperfection!
Please note:
We use natural materials in all workshops and courses, including Urushi, a traditional Japanese lacquer made from the sap of a tree. While Urushi is a 100% natural material, only some people may experience mild skin irritation if it comes into direct contact with the skin. Many people have no reaction at all. To ensure safety, we always advise proper handling and provide gloves during use.
