In care services, the workflow is never just a workflow. There is a person in it.
About this Event

This Field Lab is the portfolio's most carefully reviewed session: a half-day for disability, aged care, allied health and community-services organisations to test AI assistance on intake and reporting workflows with consent, dignity and safeguarding designed in from the first minute, and a privacy and safeguarding reviewer attached to the lab itself.

Who this is for:

Disability, aged care, allied health and community-services organisations: service managers, intake coordinators, quality and compliance leads, and frontline supervisors.

What you will do:
  1. Pressures in Disability, Aged Care and NFP Services map workforce and reporting pressures to candidate workflows without touching care decisions.
  2. Case Clinic: Consent, Dignity and Safeguarding work realistic fictional cases where the right answer is often "not here, not this way".
  3. Hands-On:Intake and Reporting Workflows test AI assistance on fictional intake and reporting material with a documented human-review step.
  4. Scored Opportunity Map and 30-Day Plan score candidates and leave with a dated plan.

What you will leave with:

A sector problem brief, a care-safe human review and consent flow, a tested workflow canvas, and a scored opportunity map with a 30-day plan.

Prerequisites and exclusions:

None; complete the 20-minute primer before the lab. Strictly fictional material no client, participant or resident information. Not clinical, legal or compliance advice; nothing in the lab changes your obligations under care standards.

Your facilitator - Dr Eunice Sari:

Dr Eunice Sari is Co-Founder and Management Committee Member of WA AI Hub and a humanity-centred AI and inclusive design leader with more than 25 years' experience. She co-created WA AI Hub's Responsible AI Governance Sprint and AI for Me programs, and is CEO and Co-Founder of UX Indonesia, Co-Founder of Customer Experience Insight Pty Ltd, a Google Mentor, a Google Certified Design Sprint Master, Adjunct Professor at UNSW and an Honorary University Fellow at Charles Darwin University.

Refund, Cancellation and Transfer Policy

1) Your legal rights: Our services come with guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded. Nothing in this policy limits them. This policy applies to tickets for this event only.

2) If we cancel or materially change the event: If we cancel this event, or change its date, content, format or delivery mode so materially that it no longer meets your reasonable needs, you can choose either:

(a) a full refund of the total you paid, including Eventbrite fees, to your original payment method; or

(b) a transfer to a later event of your choice.

We do not deduct any fee from these refunds. Minor changes, such as a substitute presenter, a running-order change, or a different room at the same venue, do not entitle you to a refund under this clause. If you think a change is material, email and we will decide within 5 business days. We will give reasons if we decline, and your legal rights are unaffected.

3) If you cannot attend: Tickets are non-refundable for change of mind. If you tell us at least 14 days before the event, you may move your ticket once to another session, subject to availability. It has no cash value.

4) Transferring your ticket to another person: You may transfer your ticket to another person up to 7 days before the event, by emailing with the new attendee’s name and email, or via Eventbrite’s transfer tool where enabled. Tickets must not be resold for more than you paid. We set this cut-off because we confirm final attendee numbers with the venue and caterer, and prepare name badges and course materials, 7 days before each event.

5) No-show or leaving early: No refund or credit is available if you do not attend or leave part-way through, except as required by law.

6) Refund requests: Email with your name, order number and the clause you rely on. We acknowledge requests within 5 business days and decide them within 10 business days. Approved refunds go to the original payment method and normally appear within 5 to 10 business days.

7) Conduct: We may refuse entry or remove an attendee who endangers others or seriously disrupts the event. No refund is due for that. This does not limit your legal rights.

8) Tickets sold through Eventbrite: Eventbrite processes tickets. Its refund tools and terms apply in addition to this policy, and we will honour the rights set out here. For advisory, training or consulting under a separate written agreement, that agreement’s terms apply together with clauses 1 and 2.

(Free events: use the same text, but remove “including Eventbrite fees” from clause 2, and remove the session-transfer sentence from clause 3 if tickets cannot be moved)
