AN EVENING OF MUSICAL VIRTUOSITY AND ROMANTIC EXPRESSION
The Cultural Center “Our Texas” is pleased to present Dialogues in Sound: An Evening of Romantic Music, an exceptional chamber music performance featuring acclaimed clarinetist Alexander Potiomkin and pianist Inna Moiseeva.
Celebrating the expressive richness of the Romantic era, the program will feature works by renowned composers, including Franz Schubert and Robert Schumann. Through the interplay of clarinet and piano, the musicians will explore the lyrical beauty, emotional depth, and intimate musical conversations that define Romantic chamber music.
Two distinguished musicians will bring this musical dialogue to life:
Alexander Potiomkin, Clarinet
A longtime member of the Houston Symphony, Alexander Potiomkin has performed with leading orchestras, including the Israel Philharmonic, Kansas City Symphony, and Tel Aviv Symphony. Born in Ukraine and a graduate of Rice University, Potiomkin combines an extensive international performing career with a strong commitment to music education.
Inna Moiseeva, Piano
A St. Petersburg–trained pianist and prize-winning collaborative artist, Inna Moiseeva has performed extensively throughout Europe and the United States. Currently based in Bloomington, Indiana, she is recognized for her musical sensitivity, technical refinement, and collaborative artistry. Her recent performances include appearances and collaborations in Munich, Pittsburgh, and St. Petersburg’s historic House of Radio.
Together, Potiomkin and Moiseeva promise an evening of brilliant virtuosity, lyrical elegance, and expressive musical partnership.
