About this Event
Decarbonising UK domestic heating: Disruptive approaches
Decarbonising domestic heating is one of the biggest challenges facing the UK on the path to Net Zero. But how we heat our homes in the future is far from decided.
Now in its third year, Decarbonising UK Domestic Heating: Disruptive Approaches brings together leading researchers, technology developers, industry stakeholders and policymakers to explore innovative solutions that could transform the way we heat UK homes.
The event will showcase emerging technologies, pioneering research and real-world projects spanning heat pumps, thermal energy storage, heat networks, hydrogen and other alternative approaches to low-carbon heating. Alongside presentations from experts across academia and industry, the programme will provide an opportunity to debate the challenges, question established assumptions and explore what it will take to accelerate the transition to affordable, secure and genuinely low-carbon domestic heating.
Whether you are developing new technologies, deploying clean-heat solutions, shaping policy or researching the energy systems of the future, this event provides an opportunity to hear what is happening at the forefront of UK domestic heating and to connect with others working to shape its future.
