About this Event
Vaari Claffey and Francis Halsall continue their podcast series, exploring different forms and methods of production happening across fields, forms, and disciplines, in conversation with Sharon Kivland, an artist based in London and France, whose work as editor and publisher happens under the imprint MA BIBLIOTHÈQUE.
Sharon Kivland is an artist and writer, an editor and publisher. Her novel Abécédaire was published by Moist Books in 2022, and its counterpart, Almanach: A Year in the French Revolutionary Calendar, was published by Grand Iota in 2025.
Producing Strategies is a podcast by curatorial practitioner Vaari Claffey and writer and academic Francis Halsall, exploring creative producing as a practice and form. In conversation with creative experts, Claffey and Halsall speak with curators, film producers, editors, designers, food producers, fashion designers, and more – about how they produce things and make things happen. They want to find out if there is a common language shared by producers of creative work, and if and how it might be possible to compare strategies for cultural work across different fields of practice.

Dublin Art Book Fair (3–13 December 2026) is a centre for contemporary artist books offering a wide selection of artist publications and titles from creative, small and independent publishers, both Irish or international, to browse or buy. In conjunction with the Fair, DABF presents an programme of book launches, publishers talks, and workshops, offering ways to engage and gain insight into contemporary independent and arts publishing.
DABF is annually hosted and produced by Temple Bar Gallery + Studios, an artists’ studio complex and contemporary art gallery in Dublin City Centre. The Gallery presents five exhibitions annually of newly commissioned work by Irish and international artists. This is supported by a programme of free talks, tours, screenings and workshops.
This event is a collaboration with the Art in the Contemporary World (ACW) at the National College of Art and Design (NCAD).
Dublin Art Book Fair 2026 is generously sponsored by our longstanding partner Henry J Lyons and supported by Dublin UNESCO City of Literature.
