About this Event
Which markets around here actually pay/cost, and what are other makers charging?
If you've done thirty markets, bring your experience and compare with peers. If you've done none, bring your questions and get ready! This session puts all experience levels in the same room, two weeks before the holiday season gets busy.
We start with numbers. We'll share confidentially in the room and learn of some other locally gathered summaries. In five minutes you'll have the local benchmark no one publishes. Then, based on the attendees and your interest, we'll focus on specific topics, like application, pricing, or something else to deep dive together. This is going to be highly adapted to who comes and what questions/needs are in the room
The final activity is where the room turns into a market and we'll mock up your booth/table or look at pictures of your setup. You'll get expert and peer support to answer questions you have. We will have tables, grid hangers for you to set up your display, hear what shoppers see first and what they guess it costs, and take photos for your next application.
Fill out this survey to be part of this local peer-exchange of information about markets.
You'll leave with:
- The local benchmark: a peer exchanged info of what markets around here cost, paid, and took
- Your Market Scorecard and how you can track going forward
- Fresh eyes on your booth, and the gap between what people guess your work costs and what you charge
- Application-ready photos of your display on a real booth
- One specific thing to try at your next market
Bring a few pieces and let me know if you have specific needs. Open to curious to vending to experienced makers.
