Get ready for an unforgettable, interactive wildlife experience! In this fascinating one-hour program, HawkQuest brings audiences face-to-face with four live owls and one hawk for an up-close look at these incredible birds of prey.Participants will explore the key differences between hawks and owls while learning how to identify nocturnal, crepuscular, and diurnal species. Through engaging demonstrations, you’ll discover the unique biology that makes owls such skilled hunters—including their beaks, talons, vision, hearing, facial disks, feather structure, and remarkable neck mobility. The program also highlights how geography influences hunting patterns and behavior across species.
Designed to be both educational and entertaining, this program includes opportunities for audience participation, Q&A, and even a chance to take a photo with an owl. Along the way, you’ll gain a deeper appreciation for the vital role raptors play in maintaining healthy ecosystems.
