Fancy getting creative, trying something new and meeting people in a relaxed and welcoming space?
Join us at Walworth Living Room for a 6 session Collage Club exploring our first theme, The Double.
Through collage and conversation, we’ll explore ideas of mirroring, copying, tracing, repetition, replication and reflection. You’ll have the chance to experiment with different materials, share ideas and develop your own artwork.
The sessions are facilitated by visual artist Rakesh Mohindra and artist/poet Patrick Cosgrove, who will guide conversations and creative activities around the theme.
You don’t need any previous art or collage experience. Come along for one session or join us for the whole series. All materials and tools are provided, although you’re welcome to bring your own too.
The series will finish with a special session where we’ll curate a book of artwork and exhibit the work created during the project.
