The WoodGreen Foundation’s Young Leaders Council (YLC) will host its annual Cocktails for a Cause fundraiser on November 17, 2026, at the Art Gallery of Ontario (AGO), bringing together Toronto’s young professionals and community leaders for an evening dedicated to raising awareness and support of WoodGreen’s new Youth Wellness Centre.
WoodGreen Foundation’s YLC brings together emerging philanthropists and community-minded professionals committed to addressing some of Toronto’s most pressing social challenges. Through fundraising, community engagement and education, YLC members mobilize their networks to advance WoodGreen’s mandate and create meaningful local impact.
Guests will enjoy an engaging evening connecting with Toronto’s young professionals, community leaders and changemakers over cocktails and a curated culinary experience. The event will feature a fireside chat with distinguished leaders from the world of sports, including 2026 Winter Olympics bronze medallist and five-time Canadian national champion ice dancer Piper Gilles, and Lisa Ferkul, Chief Revenue Officer of the Toronto Tempo.
Guests will also receive exclusive access to an exhibit at the AGO, alongside a silent auction and a lucky draw featuring prizes donated by local businesses - all in support of WoodGreen’s one-stop social services hub for youth.
WoodGreen’s Youth Wellness Centre provides young people aged 12–29 a full range of free services, including settlement support, housing, employment, education, financial assistance and cultural programming. The Centre also offers free wellness workshops and skill-building opportunities to help young people access resources and build skills for the future.
“Cocktails for a Cause is an opportunity for Toronto’s next generation of leaders to turn their passion for community into meaningful action,” said Olivia Clark, Chair of WoodGreen’s YLC. “We look forward to bringing people together at the iconic AGO to support the essential wrap-around services WoodGreen offers young people as they navigate important stages of their lives.”
