About this Event
Cobbs Creek Art Club is a place for adults and families to connect with other people in a safe, fun and creative enviornment. Each session is free of charge and provides all artmaking materials.
This Fall, we are offering a special series and we're asking that you commit to attending all three workshops.
You will:
Make your own handmade mug and tea blend in a 3 day workshop series!
This workshop is designed for absolute beginners, so no prior experience is needed. In this series you will be guided through the fundamentals of hand building with clay, explore surface decorations, and learn about herbal tea benefits.
Day 1: Pottery demo and building session Please note: Only attendees who sign up and attend this session will be able to build a mug.
Day 2: Underglaze surface decorating (for attendees of Day 1) Other offerings: Charm bar - make your own fun key chain with charms // Sketch, Draw and Color - use coloring pages or create your own fun designs // Collage creations - create a collage dreamscape
Day 3: Pick up finished mugs and create your own tea blend (for attendees of Day 1) Other offerings: Charm bar - make your own fun key chain with charms // Sketch, Draw and Color - use coloring pages or create your own fun designs // Collage creations - create a collage dreamscape
