This Christmas, we’re taking a little detour from the usual festive soundtrack. No Mariah, no Wham!, just tropical rhythms, vintage shellac and a healthy amount of gløgg.
From 19.00, Em digs into his collection of 78 rpm records, serving up vocal groups and hot jazz including Billie Holidays and Hawaiian sounds from the 1940s, including Bernie Kaai.
At 21:00, Grandbob joins the decks, the stylus moves from mono to stereo, and the tropical hitters keep coming until the last legs surrender.
