About this Event
Simon Minty, a leading disability consultant, broadcaster, and funnyman will be visiting UWL in November for an engaging and thought‑provoking talk to explore what disability means across our university community.
Blending lived experience, humour and real‑world insight, Simon challenges assumptions and builds confidence in how we talk about and support disability—whether as staff, students or peers. He’ll explore everyday situations, from sharing personal experiences to navigating support, and highlight the role we all play in creating an inclusive culture at UWL. Honest, accessible and interactive, this session will leave you better equipped to contribute to a more inclusive and supportive university experience for everyone.
