Blackheath Society member, Howard Shields, will lead members on this delightful walk from Charlton House, through Maryon Wilson Park down to the Thames and the Thames Barrier. It is then a varied and interesting walk along the Thames Path to the Pilot Inn. About 4 miles in total.
Meet at 10.00 at the entrance to Charlton House where we will have a short look around the house and enjoy a cup of coffee before beginning our walk. Bus 54 from Blackheath Village or Bus 53 from The Standard. There is a stop outside Charlton House.
