About this Event
Families navigating divorce, custody, and leaving or questioning a religious community can face incredibly complex challenges especially when children find themselves between two very different worlds. How do children feel when one parent remains within the Chareidi community while the other leaves? Where can they turn for a safe, trusted adult to talk to? And how can parents make decisions that truly put their children’s wellbeing first?
Open discussion on divorce, custody & faith change, children between Chareidi & secular worlds, and what’s best for the child.
We will hear different perspectives on family, identity, faith, belonging and opportunity, while asking one central question: what is genuinely in the best interests of the child? Join us as we listen to the voices and experiences of both parents and children and consider how families can navigate these difficult circumstances with understanding, compassion and care.
