About this Event
Tarot is often associated with prediction or fortune-telling, but I believe its deeper value is in witnessing. It can serve as a mirror for what is present, helping us recognize patterns, lessons, and transitions in our lives.
This two-part introductory course is for anyone who wants to better understand tarot, connect more deeply with their deck, strengthen their intuition, or simply explore the practice with curiosity.
Across both classes, we’ll cover the foundations of the Rider-Waite-Smith system, the Fool’s Journey, symbolism, imagery, numerology, astrology, and intuitive interpretation. We’ll also explore the Major and Minor Arcana, choosing a deck, building a personal relationship with your cards, reading for yourself versus others, and beginning to develop your own reading style.
*Bringing a personal deck of your choice is heavily encouraged but not required. Please ensure it is a Tarot Deck, not an Oracle Deck. This class will discuss the difference.
Part 2: The Minor Arcana & Reading the Story
October 24 | 12:00–2:00 PM
Part II moves more deeply into the 56 cards of the Minor Arcana and how tarot reflects the experiences, emotions, relationships, challenges, decisions, and everyday circumstances of our lives.
We will explore the four suits, their elemental associations, the progression of numbers through Ace to Ten, and the personalities and energies represented by the Court Cards.
Rather than attempting to memorize 56 individual definitions, we will focus on recognizing patterns within the deck—learning how numbers, suits, imagery, symbolism, and intuition work together to help us understand what a card may be communicating within a reading.
We will also begin bringing the Major and Minor Arcana together, exploring how multiple cards interact and how a reading begins to form a larger narrative.

Tarot can support journaling, spiritual practice, personal reflection, or even professional work. These classes will give you the fundamentals while helping you discover the approach that feels most natural to you.
One of the most important things I teach is that there are no “bad” cards in tarot. There are difficult cards, uncomfortable cards, and cards that speak to endings, uncertainty, grief, responsibility, change, or transformation—but those experiences are part of life too.
To me, tarot is a symbolic language for navigating those moments with greater awareness. It can help us ask better questions, recognize patterns, understand the energy we are participating in, and develop a deeper conversation between ourselves, our intuition, and divine source energy.
Sometimes the cards do not tell us what is going to happen next.
More often, they simply help us see more clearly where we already are.
Your Facilitator: Trenna Terrill is a certified Reiki practitioner and intuitive reader who creates intentional, supportive spaces for healing, balance, and reconnection. With a background in engineering and a deep respect for both structure and intuition, her work bridges the physical and energetic worlds. Her approach is calm, compassionate, and client-centered, helping individuals release tension, restore flow, and return to themselves with greater clarity and ease.
Her sessions are rooted in the understanding that the body and spirit already hold deep intelligence—healing is not something to be forced, but remembered. Through Reiki, Tarot, and intuitive insight, Trenna helps clients release what feels stuck, gain clarity, and reconnect to their own inner knowing—the part of them that already knows how to rebuild, realign, and move forward—offering both energetic support and grounded guidance.
