Port Moody is getting its first Basecamp on Thursday, November 19, 5:30 to 7:30pm at North Point Brewing, 2601 Murray St on Brewers Row. Hosted with our community partner, North Point Brewing. Look for the CDM BASECAMP banner when you arrive. Free to attend and open to all levels, whether you run an agency, work in-house, freelance, or are just getting into marketing. What is Basecamp?
Basecamp is a free after-work meetup from CDM Summit for marketers in the Tri-Cities. No panels, no pitches, no agenda. Just good conversation with people who do what you do.
Who comes to these?
Marketers, founders, freelancers, and agency folks from Port Moody, Coquitlam, and Port Coquitlam, plus a few who make the trip in. Most people come solo.
What does it cost?
Nothing. Basecamp is free. RSVP to hold your spot, the room is capped at 40.
Can I come alone?
Yes. Most people do. It is a small room on purpose, and introductions happen fast.
What about food and drinks?
Drinks are on your own tab at the bar. Come as you are, grab a pint if you like.
Where do I park, and how is transit?
Street parking around Brewers Row and the Rocky Point lot nearby. Moody Centre Station is a short walk away if you are coming by SkyTrain or bus.
Can I arrive late or leave early?
Yes. It is a drop-in. Show up when you can, leave when you need to.
Who hosts this?
Basecamp is run by CDM Summit, the Canadian Digital Marketing Summit community. Your host for the night is Amaan Jaffer of CDM Summit, who also co-owns HQ Workspaces in Coquitlam.
