BarCamp Philly 17 is Saturday, October 17, at Wharton's Huntsman Hall.BarCamp is an unconference: the attendees build the schedule. Most of the session board fills up that morning, when anyone with something to share claims a slot. Expect talks, ad-hoc panels, hot-topic discussions, and the occasional curveball. Live music, meditation, and improv have all made the board in past years.
New this year is the DemoCamp track, a home for product demos and workshops.
You don't need a prepared talk to come. Show up curious, sit in on a few sessions, and meet the people who make Philly's tech community work.
Continental breakfast is on site, with vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options. There's a quiet room, optional pronoun stickers at registration, and all-gender restrooms. Accessibility questions go to [email protected].
