?LIVE fast-paced SWING in KZ ✨Fast tempo swinging live music with COMPASS BALLROOM STOPMERS, a buzzing atmosphere and tasty drinks: you don't want to miss this night!
The Compass Ballroom Stompers play tight swing from the 1950s. They are known for their alternative melodies based on the chord progression of standards from the Great American Songbook, known as contrafacts. Charlie Parker’s ‘Ornithology’, based on the well-known ‘How High the Moon’, is a good example of this.
