WARDROBE MALFUNCTION
Originating as spaced-out, one take experimentation between multi-instrumentalists Wes Jensen and Maggie Merrifield in the Summer of 2020, Wardrobe Malfunction has carved a niche for themselves that proudly defies genre expectations and limitations. After several mixtape style releases as a compositional duo spanning in genre from bedroom pop psychedelia and imaginary film scores to trash-thrash, Wardrobe Malfunction welcomed drummer Duncan Ward and bassist Griffin Houck to write and record psych fusion, prog pop epic, Hydroglyph , released on the last day of 2025. The addition of keyboardist Doug Brite in 2026 sees WM in their current iteration- writing, performing, and recording as a quintet.
