A practical, senior-friendly guide to understanding how modern technology can support your health, memory, and everyday quality of life.
About this Event

Have you ever felt overwhelmed by complex medical jargon at the doctor’s office? Or wondered about the best ways to keep your mind sharp and active during your golden years?

The healthcare world is evolving rapidly with the arrival of Artificial Intelligence (AI). But you don't need to be a tech expert to benefit from it!

This event is specially designed with a relaxed pace, plain language, and clear, practical examples tailored for seniors. We will show you step-by-step how simple AI tools can help you feel more confident managing your health independently and preserving your cherished memories.

Family members and caregivers are also warmly invited to attend with you!

What you’ll learn:
  • You will learn practical ways to use simple health apps to understand doctor's notes, manage Medic*tion schedules, and prepare for medical visits with confidence.
  • This session guides you in supporting your cognitive health through fun brain exercises, digitizing family memories, and recognizing early memory changes safely.
  • You will also receive straightforward guidance on keeping your personal health information safe and private whenever you use digital tools.

Who should attend:
  • Adults aged 50+ curious about online safety
  • Parents and grandparents guiding young people in the digital world
  • Anyone aged 50+ who wants to feel more confident using technology

About the speaker:

Dr Eunice Sari has spent 25 years helping people and organisations use technology confidently. She leads the WA AI Hub and has taught and advised people across Australia, Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and the USA. Eunice loves cutting through confusing tech-speak and making things simple, safe, and easy for everyone to understand.

Refund, Cancellation and Transfer Policy

1) Your legal rights: Our services come with guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded. Nothing in this policy limits them. This policy applies to tickets for this event only.

2) If we cancel or materially change the event: If we cancel this event, or change its date, content, format or delivery mode so materially that it no longer meets your reasonable needs, you can choose either:

(a) a full refund of the total you paid, including Eventbrite fees, to your original payment method; or

(b) a transfer to a later event of your choice.

We do not deduct any fee from these refunds. Minor changes, such as a substitute presenter, a running-order change, or a different room at the same venue, do not entitle you to a refund under this clause. If you think a change is material, email and we will decide within 5 business days. We will give reasons if we decline, and your legal rights are unaffected.

3) If you cannot attend: Tickets are non-refundable for change of mind. If you tell us at least 14 days before the event, you may move your ticket once to another session, subject to availability. It has no cash value.

4) Transferring your ticket to another person: You may transfer your ticket to another person up to 7 days before the event, by emailing with the new attendee’s name and email, or via Eventbrite’s transfer tool where enabled. Tickets must not be resold for more than you paid. We set this cut-off because we confirm final attendee numbers with the venue and caterer, and prepare name badges and course materials, 7 days before each event.

5) No-show or leaving early: No refund or credit is available if you do not attend or leave part-way through, except as required by law.

6) Refund requests: Email with your name, order number and the clause you rely on. We acknowledge requests within 5 business days and decide them within 10 business days. Approved refunds go to the original payment method and normally appear within 5 to 10 business days.

7) Conduct: We may refuse entry or remove an attendee who endangers others or seriously disrupts the event. No refund is due for that. This does not limit your legal rights.

8) Tickets sold through Eventbrite: Eventbrite processes tickets. Its refund tools and terms apply in addition to this policy, and we will honour the rights set out here. For advisory, training or consulting under a separate written agreement, that agreement’s terms apply together with clauses 1 and 2.
