Step into the spotlight at Barbican Theatre with our Adults Acting Courses, designed for people who want to grow, express themselves, and connect with others in a creative environment.

ACTivate is a weekly drama session designed for adults who want to reconnect with their creativity, meet new people, and explore performance in a welcoming, no-pressure environment. No prior experience is needed—just an interest in trying something new.
Ideal for those returning to performance after a break, or simply looking for a creative hobby, ACTivate focuses on building confidence, communication skills, and group collaboration.
What You Can Expect:
- Improvisation & Acting Techniques: Learn the basics through fun, accessible exercises.
- Creative Expression: Use drama to explore ideas, characters, and stories.
- Collaborative Sessions: Work with others in a friendly, supportive space.
- Confidence Building: Develop skills for the stage—and beyond.
