About this Event
Civic engagement is serious work, but there's room to celebrate it, too.
This December, Seattle CityClub invites you to A Civic Soirée, a festive edition of Civic Cocktail that brings together the people and organizations shaping civic life across the Pacific Northwest. Join us for an evening of conversation and connection as we reflect on a consequential year and recognize the work happening throughout our communities.
Local civic organizations will be on hand to share their accomplishments and introduce new opportunities to get involved. Whether you're a longtime advocate or looking for your first step into civic life, there's a place for you in the conversation.
The evening will also feature a special conversation with former Washington Governor , interviewed by KUOW's , exploring her professional journey, the experiences that shaped her commitment to public service, and her perspective on civic engagement and democracy. Through a candid discussion of her leadership and the lessons learned along the way, we'll consider what it takes to make a difference and why that work matters now.
