About this Event
Rattlesnake Gulch Loop is located in Eldorado Canyon State Park near Eldorado Springs. It begins with a steady incline through the canyon, leading to the remnants of the Crags Hotel and later to the Continental Divide Overlook.
Parking at the trailhead is limited—additional parking is available further past the trailhead.

THE EVENT
This moderate 3.8-mile loop in Eldorado Canyon State Park gains 980 feet of elevation and takes about 2–2.5 hours to complete. The trail is clearly marked and well maintained, with shade and gorgeous views throughout. Be prepared for some rough terrain: expect steep inclines and loose gravel and rocks. A Colorado State Parks pass or a daily vehicle pass ($10–$15) is required.
