Short notice, I realize. I took a break and ventured off to Lake Michigan last week. I'm a little late getting the word out. Huascar Medina was the Kansas Poet Laureate from 2019-2022. His latest collection is titled Protest as a Love Poem. Selections from this work will serve as our inspiration for writing this month.
This will be the last Writing for Good group this year. We will not be meeting in November or December due to conflicts with holidays. The group will begin meeting again in January 2027.
Space is limited to 10, so please reply to this message if you intend to attend. I want to make sure I have enough handouts.
6-8pm at The Sunrise Project, 4th and Elm in North Lawrence.
