Join The Willow Domestic Violence Center for a screening of the acclaimed film Behind the Rage: Inside America’s Domestic Violence. Peabody-, BAFTA-, and Emmy Award-winning filmmaker Deeyah Khan explores a critical question: Is it possible to reduce endemic male violence?
Through testimonies from survivors and social workers, the film seeks solutions by amplifying voices rarely heard in these conversations: The perpetrators themselves.
Live Post-Screening Panel
Featuring Steve and Dorothy Halley, founders of the Family Peace Initiative (FPI), alongside an expert in the fields of Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault, and a graduate of FPI’s program who now facilitates classes. The documentary prominently features FPI for its groundbreaking work to end family violence through compassion, respect, and targeted intervention.
