🗺️
You will be introduced to oil pastel techniques, including blending, cross-hatching, and impasto as you draw from a 3D miniature landscapes created by artist Kate Stephens. There will be several dioramas to choose from, constructed from natural materials such as seedheads, twigs, fallen bark, and fabric, into which model animals have been placed.
Experimenting with these oil pastel techniques and different viewpoints, you’ll be encouraged to use marks, colour, and scale to create different interpretations of the landscape and animals. There will be a range of objects available if you wish to make changes to the scene you're drawing.
