With nearly 1 in 2 people in the UK expected to receive a cancer diagnosis during their lifetime, it is likely that at some point someone in your counselling room will either have received a diagnosis themselves, or be supporting a family member, friend or loved one who has.This is a 4-hour CPD workshop for trainee and qualified counsellors, developing confidence, compassion and sensitivity when working therapeutically with people affected by cancer.
Together, Tracey and Sara offer counselling experience, personal insight and medical experience within the NHS
The funds raised for the workshop will also go towards our new service 'The Other Conversation' providing low cost counselling for those impacted by a cancer diagnosis.
