About this Event

Facilitated by Marianna Vogt, Dramatherapist

Arachne: a drama and movement therapy myth workshop. The workshop uses the myth of Arachne as a way in to exploring creativity, hierarchy, pride, and what sort of work is and isn’t recognised.

The workshop begins with a gentle creative and physical warmup and moves on to a telling of the myth. We will then explore emergent themes through movement, textile collage and individual and group reflection.

No prior experience in drama, movement, textiles or other art forms is necessary.

Marianna Vogt, Drama and Movement therapist and Clinical Supervisor.

I combine talk therapy, movement-based techniques, and artistic expression—whether through breathwork, drama exercises, writing, or visual art—to facilitate healing and growth. Some sessions focus entirely on verbal processing, while others engage the body and creative mediums as powerful tools for self-discovery and transformation.
