It’s back! Liverpool’s biggest Christmas light switch-on returns for 2026 and is better than ever.Sponsored by the Village Cat, this year’s event sees a festive market start proceedings from 1pm (running through to 8pm), with entertainment on stage starting from 2pm, before the lights go on when it’s dark.
With local entertainment, festive singing from Kahli Morris and plenty more, we’ll have you entertained right throughout the day.

As well as Santa and his grotto, we’re pleased to announce that LFC legend, Bruce Grobbelaar will be switching on the lights and talking to the crowd.
