Woodland Cacao & Venus Sigil Magic (Nov)

We gather every month in the woods for a fully immersive Cacao Ceremony. This one is in the afternoon with an extened time for Venus Direct magic.

There will be clearing with sage smudging & calling Totemic spirits. Energy raised with chants and movements; Ceremonial grade Cacao is added by each person to heated vegan milk; Each person sets own magical or healing intentions and drinks their cup of Cacao in silence; There's then a brief offering of heart-frequeny singing bowls for each person. There follows Magical working to create a Venus Charm; ; then a sharing circle with some snacks.

• Theme this month is Venus Magic! On this date of 14th Nov'2026, the planet Venus goes direct after being retrograde for 6 weeks. This is the perfect time to create Venus Charm using planetary sigils, to take home.. and use for all your other magical work with this Venus Blessing. Copper plate (special to Venus), Pillar Candle and sigil designs are all provided.

Intentions & effects.

Cacao drinking in Tribes is old magical practice that works gently in heart-centre and energy openings in people. There are no quick-fix results; It takes time to work. It's effects are subtle, and can include a good feeling of wellness, connection, love, gratitude, mindfullness, positivity.

So starting with groundedness, stillness, and balance is importrant in order to feel the effects of the Cacao.

• Global intentions: In our ceremonies, each person puts a spoonful of Cacao powder into the heated vegan milk, calling out one global intention (love, world peace, eco-protection etc). This is stirred into cacao as its prepared.
• Personal magic: Once you pour yourself a cup of Cacao, you can set your own magical personal intentions - whisper it to the Cacao or project with heart energy ..and then drink it quietly to absorb that magic.

We began Cacao circles in Hampstead Heath, in June 2021, with Freya Witch leading them . A new cycle began with our Earth Hour Cacao ritual in March 2025.

Our aim is to hold these in woodland, so as to get closer to the natural setting similar to real tribal cacao rituals.

• *We are using Organic, Vegan, Ceremonial grade Cacao, grown by the Ashaninka Tribe in Peru.

What you can bring

• Food: Vegetarian food / snacks welcome (no meat or alcohol).
• For altar : Flowers & lanterns, LED lights, ritual banners, statues of gods goddess or animal totems.
• Practical - very important. : Wrap up really warm. Bring Cushion/ yoga mat to sit on. blanket to cover your self..(even on a sunny day, it becomes cold at night when sitting in one area).
• Optional- Drums, rattles, percursion musical instruments; Note books; your own crystals & talismans to keep with you for journey; Your own Cup to drink Cacao from. (we provide reusuable cups).

Venues:

Our Cacao Ceremonies are held in various public woods, in the afternoon or evening, in natural weather conditions. So please do come fully prepared .

Meeting point (On Queen's Wood Road - N6 5UU):

• Walk along Wood Lane, then it changes to `Queen's wood Road, N6 5UU . We meet on the left, half way along this road, by a sign board to the Woods.

Mani (Facilittor) will meet & collect you, and lead all attendees into the woods, to a chosen ritual space, where the Cacao ceremony will commence. [ exact location in woods may vary - so please wait at road-side to be led in].

About the Organiser :

Mani, with Hindu roots, is an author, teacher, initiated Witch & High Priest, with 30yrs of Wicca & magical experiences. Since 2004, he has been working more and more in Woods, with rituals, covens and workshop. Mani has a Physics B.Sc degree, training in Transpersonal Psychology & counselling, and blends some Hindu & Shamanic practices into pagan rituals.

Info: Mani or a ritual team member will meet you - by entrance to woods (On Queens Wood Road) and walk you in as a group to ritual spot. There, an Altar will be setup with banners, candles, incense, etc by a tree trunk, and decorated with any god godess figurines. Team members also heat up vegan-friendly milk in pot and mix cacao and prepare the drink.

Info: Sage or incense smudging of all attendees; Calling Elements & Totem spirit animals; Heart-opening with Singing bowl for each person; For ENERGY, We use drums and chants while moving, dancing around the cacao pot to charge it with positive vibes

Info: Each person holds their cacao drink cup, makes silent intentions (magical ) and sips their Cacao. This is done calmly and in silence. We give time for Cacao to work in our hearts; People lay down or relax seated and wrapped in blankets-Facilitators hold a guided Journey or story telling.

Info: We sit together, close personal energy centres; make notes; share any experiences ; There will be some picnic food shared for personal grounding; then group tidy up of ritual space to return it to natural conditions, and walk back to main road..
