Women innovators are building solutions with the potential to improve health, strengthen climate resilience and expand access to care. Yet too many women-led ventures still face barriers to growth capital, strategic networks, market access and global visibility.
Building on the launch of WiN INDIA in Hyderabad on 22 August 2026, this UNGA81 session will explore how women-led innovation can move from local traction to international scale. WiN INDIA focuses on high-potential women entrepreneurs working across health and health technologies, traditional medicine, wellness, integrative health, climate resilience and climate-health solutions.
At UNGA81, HIEx will take the next step by connecting India to New York and making the pathway to scale more practical. The session will bring together women innovators, policymakers, investors, corporate leaders and ecosystem partners to discuss how cross-border partnerships can unlock adoption, investment, market access and growth.
The session will also mark the official launch of the WiN INDIA public call for innovators and the announcement of WiN NY, creating a new India–US corridor within the Women in Innovation platform to connect locally rooted innovation with global opportunities.
