Meet Our Special Guest: Kairis Joy Chiaji | The Doula in Heels
Kairis is a Sacramento-based birth doula, educator, trainer, and maternal health advocate with over 25 years of experience. As founder of the Children of the Sun Doula Project and former national doula trainer with Birthing Project USA, she has dedicated her career to mentoring birthworkers and advancing maternal health equity.
Drawing from her extensive experience in birthwork, Kairis will share valuable insights during an interactive Q&A focused on professional growth, navigating the doula profession, maternal health advocacy, and expanding access to community-based care.
