About this Event
As we move into the stillness of Winter, nature invites us to slow down. The days become colder, shorter and darker, and the natural world settles into a gentler pace. ‘Wintering’ is also a beautiful metaphor, for times in our lives where we’re forced to turn inwards, away from busyness of life and into the quiet, for healing and repair. We all go through these periods of Wintering. These times, though painful, can also be a time of growth.
To me, the rhythm of Winter feels like an invitation for rest, reflection and self nurture. A season to come home to ourselves and find stillness in the midst of any suffering we are experiencing. Through the breath and reconnection with the body, we create this space to allow whatever emerges. This will be a cosy session, with plenty of blankets, calming essential oil blends and time dedicated to deep rest and relaxation.
Conscious Connected Breathwork is a specific breathing pattern where you breathe in a continuous, connected rhythm. It combines breathwork, meditation and music to guide you into deeper states of awareness. During the session, you may notice emotions arising, sensations moving through the body, or moments of clarity and insight. Breathwork can create a powerful shift where the mind feels clearer, quieter and more spacious.
No previous experience of breathwork or meditation is needed. If you have any questions at all, please email me at [email protected].
About Me
My name is Lily, I'm a certified breathwork facilitator (Alchemy of Breath) and meditation teacher (British School of Meditation). My approach to breathwork isn't about chasing a particular experience. While powerful moments absolutely can arise, I believe the real healing lives in the quieter moments. In a deep yawn, a spontaneous sigh, a softening in the body or the moment you find yourself able to be with something difficult. I love creating sessions that guide you back into relationship with your body, into a place of openness and curiosity with your own present moment experience. I believe the body knows exactly how to guide us back to balance, we just have to create the right conditions.
