About this Event
Join us on Sunday 29 November for the final day of Rivers, the literary and visual installation at Cyprus House.
Following its summer presentation in St James’s Square Garden, Rivers returned this autumn in a new indoor form, bringing together the words of Costas Mannouris and the visual world created by Eugenios Gavriil.
Inspired by the idea of dry riverbeds within us places where words, conversations, truths, silences and memories once flowed Rivers explores the ways language shapes relationships, memory, connection and loss.
Throughout the exhibition, poems and visual material have moved through the gallery space like currents, inviting visitors to slow down, encounter the work at their own pace, and reflect on the words and memories that remain with us.
This Closing Open House offers one final opportunity to experience the installation before it comes to an end.
Curated tours will take place throughout the afternoon, offering visitors the chance to hear more about how the project was conceived, the poetry of Costas Mannouris, and the visual approach developed by Eugenios Gavriil.
🌊 Come and spend one final afternoon with Rivers before the exhibition closes.
