Trio Paradis (Jacquelyn Bevan - piano, Ruth O’Shea - violin & Linda Stocks - cello) play a Café Concert on the last Friday of each month at 1pm at St John's Church Hall: a 45-minute concert of mainly classical music, introduced by the performers, with a pop-up café open from 12.15pm where you can meet friends and make new ones over tea/coffee and home-made cakes.This month's programme features plenty of ice and snow, with sleigh rides and musical evocations of wintry landscapes: music by Purcell, Schubert, Delius, Tchaikovsky, Glazunov, Debussy and Palmgren.
